Yet more lack of grace, organization, a real life..... ready to graduate!

I have not posted since October! Well not much different has happened since October, so you guys are not missing out on much.

I am now a dancer in Peninsula High Schools  production of Footloose. I still have my radio show(although the last few weeks I had to miss it). I tutor first, second, and third graders through CISP, and soon I will be tutoring for Algebra. I am a writer, photographer, and Public relations manager for the Peninsula Outlook, and as of the last issue I now have my own column highlighting local music. I am still a member of CIP( I need to find out when the next meeting is...) I have youth group ( I have to make sure I don't forget this week), and I need to keep going to church. Along with my AP classes I have my Saturday. So for those of you who thought I was MIA, nope I am just the new definition of busy!

Yesterday was the best saturday I have had in a while! Four of my amazing friends spent the night. We all slept on my bed, when we woke up in the morning we stayed up for about an hour, ate a million oranges, Oreos, brownie ice cream, and pretzels. What better to do after being awake for only an hour? Get back in bed and cuddle! We all finally got out of bed at five... in the afternoon. So I had a total of seventeen hours of sleep(the same amount as an average lazy kitty cat)! which apparently was not enough because by midnight I was struggling to keep my eyes open and finally fell asleep.

School takes so much energy out of me! I am ready to graduate and be free of high school and its pitiful drama! I will be at college in six or seven months, depending on which school I go to. There is another issue, fining out which school I will have money to go to! If only I had a money tree or won the lottery, or one of those cliche money obtaining circumstances.

Oh well, life is busy, messy reality. Guess for now I am just dealing with it. Maybe eventually I will become capable of walking down the path of life gracefully.

  1. As we all grow from grade school to middle school and then on to high school, we all to want to be older, I can't wait to be a teenager, I cannot wait to be 16, 18, 21 and to get on with our lives without having to have our parents looking over our shoulders or telling us what to do! A natural course of events. But, ya know when we all get to the age of -WOOHOO I am an adult- The time flies by so fast that you get to a point where you stop and go "GOOD GRIEF WHERE DID THE TIME GO" At one point you are carefree and have all things done for you, then you have to learn to do some things for yourself, once you reach that point it goes to DANG "I have to do this ON MY OWN!" and you wish to be back in the days gone by! Remember to dig in your heals sometimes and just ENJOY where you are! You are a wonderful, beautiful, special young lady and we are PROUD that you are a part of this family! Love ya Girl! Good luck in your future and may God ALWAYS bless you!
